ABOUT KRISTEN PFAFF
Former bassist with the grunge band Hole who died of a drug overdose in 1994.
She studied classical piano and cello at the University of Minnesota before joining the band Janitor Joe.
She inspired Minnesota college radio station KUOM to start a yearly memorial scholarship in her name.
Her mother, Janet Pfaff, gave a speech at her induction into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.
She played in Hole with frontwoman Courtney Love .
