Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the second round of the 2018 MLB Draft. In 2019, he was named to the All-Star Futures Game as a member of the US team.

He graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School prior to enrolling at Stanford University .

He made his major league debut pitching against the Chicago White Sox on July 31, 2020.

He is a native of Cupertino, California.

During his debut, he became the youngest pitcher in Royals' franchise history to make his MLB debut as a starter since Yordano Ventura .
