ABOUT KOOPSTA KNICCA
Born Robert Cooper Phillips and known to his fans as Koopsta Knicca, this rapper performed with a Memphis hip hop group called Da Mafia 6ix (previously known as Three 6 Mafia). He also recorded numerous solo albums, including De Inevitable; A Murda 'N Room 8; and Aliens vs Humans.
He released his debut album, Da Devil's Playground, in 1999.
One of his albums with Three 6 Mafia -- When the Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1 -- went platinum.
He was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee.
He collaborated with fellow Southern rapper Gangsta Boo on the single "Cars, Clothes, Hoes."
