He is a popular boxer inside Japan, where his fights became a focal point by half the country.
The youngest of the three Kameda brothers, Tomoki, won the WBC Youth Intercontinental Super Bantamweight Championship.
He started his career 22-0 before losing to Pongsaklek Wonjongkam by majority decision.
