She first appeared on her family's YouTube channel in May 2016, where her mother posted a video of her birth called "Knixia's Birth / Labor and delivery story."

Her family owns a beauty company called Knourish. She has also been a brand ambassador for Nova Kids.

She is the daughter of Nick and Keeundra Smith . In addition to her sister Knaomi, she has 3 younger siblings.
