ABOUT KIYOSHI IJICHI

Best known as the drummer for the Japanese rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. In 2015, he participated on his 8th Asian Kung-Fu Generation album, called Wonder Future, alongside his bandmates.

He initially met his three bandmates, including Masafumi Gotoh , while he was a student at Kanto Gakuin University. He was already a part of a collegiate rock band, but left to form Asian Kung-Fu Generation.

In September 2012, he and his bandmates released their 7th studio album Landmark. It became the group's 1st group released to the American iTunes store. He also took part in his first Asian circuit tour beginning in December of 2013.

He was born and raised in Kamakura, Japan.
