ABOUT KIERAN MCKENNA
Norther Irish soccer coach famous for leading the teams Manchester United and Ipswich Town. Before becoming a coach, he played for the Northern Ireland national team and Tottenham Hotspur . In his youth, he played for Northern Ireland's national team in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship tournament.
His playing career came to an end in 2009 while playing for Tottenham Hotspur when he sustained a hip injury. This led him to becoming a coach.
In 2021, he became the manager for Ipswich Town and quickly led his team to victory against the Wycombe Wanderers and Gillingham. Besides soccer, he played Gaelic football for the Enniskillen Gaels. He earned a degree in sports science from Loughborough University.
He was born and raised in Coa, County Fermanagh, in Northern Ireland.
He began working under Ralf Rangnick in November 2021.
