Los Angeles based rapper who rose to fame with his singles "La Raza," "No Sunshine" and "La Familia." His single "La Raza" reached number 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1990. He has a dedicated fanbase on Instagram with over 50,000 subscribers to his therealkidfrost account.

He entered the hip-hop scene in the early 1980's.

He later breakdanced as a part of the hip-hop crew Uncle Jamm's Army.

His son, known as Scoop DeVille, is a record producer.

He had a known rivalry with fellow rapper Ice-T .
