He listened to R&B and learned to dance while growing up in Sacramento, California.

In 2009, he rapped vocals in the song, "We Have A Problem" on Diggy Simmons ' debut album, The First Flight.

His family is from Morocco.

He created a freestyle remix of 50 Cent and Ne-Yo 's song, "Baby by Me."
