ABOUT KEVIN RYAN

He attended St Joseph's, Nudgee, where he played junior rugby.
He had a political career after sports; he became an Australian Labor Party member for the city of Hurstville in 1976.
He was born in 1934 to May Helena Ryan and her husband, Matthew.
He and fellow Australian James Slipper both proudly represented their native land in professional rugby.
