Kevin O'Hare

ABOUT KEVIN O'HARE

Retired ballet dancer who would go on to become the Artistic Director of The Royal Ballet in London in 2012. As a dancer, he won acclaim for playing lead roles in productions like Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty.

He trained at the Vera Skelton School of Dance and The Royal Ballet School.

He appeared in the 1976 musical film Bugsy Malone as a child.

His brother is fellow dancer Michael O'Hare.

He and Anthony Dowell have both served as the Artistic Director of The Royal Ballet.
