She made her acting debut as an uncredited role in a 1998 episode of the TV series Casualty. She went on to play Tammy in a 1999 episode of The Knock and Nurse in a 1999 episode of Daylight Robbery.
She has regular appearances on BBC Radio 4 in the UK. In After Life, she plays the character of Lisa Johnson. She began appearing on the show in 2019.
She and her husband Ben Abell have two children together.
