ABOUT KENNEDY SMITH

Journalist known for covering MMA events as a PFL reporter on ESPN, sharing behind-the-scenes sports content, and bringing a fresh, athletic perspective from her background as a former Texas A&M hurdler.

She began running hurdles and cheerleading at age 6, eventually becoming a top-ranked hurdler at The Woodlands High School, where she earned statewide honors.

In college, she co-launched the "Seniors on JV" podcast with another Texas A&M athlete, interviewing guests like MLB pitcher Asa Lacy and Olympian Athing Mu .

Her family has a tradition of running track. Her dad once hurdled at Sam Houston State, and her grandpa was the 1954 state champion.

She has worked alongside Jonathan Coachman .
