Japanese guitarist famous for his work as the guitarist and backing vocalist for the band Mr. Children. His band held the record for the highest first-week sales of a single in Japan for 15 years.

His band released their major-label debut in 1992.

Before starting Mr. Children, three of the band's members were in a group called The Walls.

He was born in Japan.

He and Toru Yamashita are famous guitarists from Japan.
