Irish hooker who played for Ireland and the Harlequins. He was inducted into the Rugby Hall of Fame.
He began his career with the Irish team Garryowen in 1992.
He was nicknamed 'The Raging Potato' because of his bald head.
His father Gordon Wood was also a professional rugby player.
He and Rory Best both represented Ireland in international play.
