Lithuanian physicist, writer, essayist, and publisher who published his essays in the Lithuanian press. He also taught at the University of Maryland .
He studied at both the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Northwestern University .
He founded the Fund Supporting Royal Palace, which helps finance a replica of a medieval Lithuanian Royal Palace.
His parents raised him in Siauliai County, Lithuania.
He and John Sipher both studied at Northwestern University.
