ABOUT KATJA BURKARD

German journalist and television presenter who is best recognized for having hosted several shows such as Grill den Henssler in 2017 and Promi Shopping Queen in 2016. She is also a children's book author known for having published Rundherum und hin und her - Zähneputzen ist nicht schwer.

She studied both German and Political Science at Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium Westerburg. She then started her career in journalism, working as an editor for Goldene Gesundheit as well as a reporter for the RTL-News network.

She is also known for having been a competitor on the reality television series Lets Dance on the RTL network.

She married fellow journalist Hans Mahr and together they have two daughters.

She starred opposite Mark Keller in I Love You, Baby in 2000 as a news anchor.
