ABOUT KAM NING
A violinist from Singapore who has been decorated with awards, including the 2000 Young Artist Award presented by the National Arts Council.
She learned how to play when she was six years old and in 1987, she was offered scholarships to attend the Yehudi Menuhin School.
She appeared on the television show Blue Peter at the age of eight, playing one of Paganini's "Caprices."
Her father was Kam Kee Yong, a violinist and composer.
She cites her teacher Yehudi Menuhi is one of her primary influences.
