He was working as a luxury brand consultant before debuting on The Bachelorette.

After his reality career, he began a career as a social entrepreneur. He has also been a contributing writer for Forbes and The New York Times and a financial wellness strategist for Financial Finesse.

He originally hails from Houston, Texas.
