Kai-Wei Teng

ABOUT KAI-WEI TENG

Major league pitcher that was originally signed by the Minnesota Twins as a free agent in 2017. A few years later, he was traded to the San Francisco Giants in July 2019. He is also a member of the Taiwanese men's national team.

He initially began his professional baseball career with the GCL Twins rookie affiliate team. After ten games, he was then sent to the Cedar Rapids Kernels.

He made his MLB debut while facing the San Diego Padres on March 31, 2024. He pitched three innings and recorded four strikeouts.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Taichung, Taiwan.

He was once packaged in a trade that also included Jaylin Davis .
