ABOUT JUSTUS MUHLENPFORDT
German nuclear scientist who became a Corresponding Member of the Akademie der Wissenschaften in 1969. He worked for both the German nuclear energy project and the Soviet atomic bomb project.
He earned a doctorate from Technische Hochschule Carolo-Wilhelmina zu Braunschweig in 1936.
He had an x-ray tube with a cross-shaped anode named after him.
His father was an architect, his mother was a painter and his maternal grandfather was the founder of Drägerwerk AG, Henry Drager.
