Relief pitcher who began his major league career with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2011. He was originally drafted in 2007 and was a standout player for minor league teams like the Williamsport Crosscutters and Lakewood Blue Claws.
He graduated from Rio Mesa High School in 2005.
He is also a musician who records his own music.
His parents are Terry and Dorothy De Fratus.
He became teammates with All-Star pitcher Cliff Lee in 2011.
