ABOUT JULINHO KSD
Portuguese-Cape Verdean rapper and former professional soccer player, who gained a following after releasing his debut album, Sabi na Sabura, in 2021, which reached Platinum status. He has earned over 230,000 followers on Instagram, where he posts under the handle julinho.ksd.
He began releasing music in 2017, with his first single "Básico" released under Instinto 26, a music production collective. At the time, he was still a soccer player for the Portuguese club, Sintrense. In the 2018-2019 season with the club, he suffered a serious injury and decided to pursue music full-time. In 2019, he signed a contract with Sony Music Portugal.
He sings mostly in Cape Verdean Creole and Portuguese, occasionally mixing both languages with English. His most popular songs are "Vivi Good", "Hoji N'ka Ta Rola", and "Sentimento Safari"
He was born in Sintra, Portugal, to Cape Verdean parents.
He has collaborated with singer Soraia Ramos on the 2023 hit, "Mónica."
