Brazilian fashion model who has posed for the covers of prominent magazines like United, Fractice and Elle Spain. She has worked with some of the world's most respected fashion designers, including Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani .

She was in the running for a commercial modelling campaign at age 12. The following year, she was a finalist in the Elite Model Look Contest.

Her fame reached a new level when she was featured in the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated in 2003, exposing her to a North American audience for the first time.

She was born in the town of José Bonifácio, Brazil.

She was dubbed the Brazilian Cindy Crawford by John Casablancas early in her career.
