ABOUT JP ALFONSO

Cuban tattoo artist who is recognized for his work in hyper-realism. Often working in Black & Grey styles, he shares his work through Instagram where he has amassed over 60,000 followers.

He got his first tattoo in Cuba at the age of 12. He first started learning the craft himself through the underground scene in the country at the age of 16. He eventually moved to the United States to pursue his career as an artist in 2006.

He is known for having earned sponsorship from several tattoo based brands including FK Irons, World Famous Ink, and HUSH.

He was born and raised in Havana, Cuba.

He has tattooed portraits of several cultural icons including of Salvador Dalí and Bryan Cranston .
