ABOUT JOSHUA KIPRUI CHEPTEGEI
Olympic runner and world record holder who won the gold medal in the 5000m race at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
He also set the world record in the 5000m and 10000m in 2020.
He grew up in Uganda and studied language and literature in Kampala.
He is also employed by the Uganda National Police.
His wife Eng Carol Kamari can often be seen on his Instagram page.
Mo Farah won gold in the same event as Cheptegei in the 2012 Olympic Games.
