ABOUT JOSH TAYLOR
Often referred to as "The Tartan Tornado", he is a veteran southpaw that fights in the men's light-welterweight division. From the year 2019 until the year 2023, he held the title of being the undisputed light-welterweight champion of the world.
Prior to his boxing career, he studied the discipline of taekwondo. In fact, he was once won the Taekwondo Juniors Championship.
He made his official boxing debut while fighting against Archie Weah on July 18, 2015. He won his debut match via TKO. He is also a member of the Scottish men's national team. He stands five feet, ten inches tall and has a reach of just under 70 inches.
Growing up, he lived with his family in Prestonpans, Scotland.
He was once given the opportunity to fight Teofimo Lopez during his professional boxing career.
