A close friend of Axl Rose of the popular rock band Guns N'Roses. He has worked with the band as a director of one of their music videos and appeared in a behind-the-scenes movie of theirs.

He had minor roles in television shows such as 21 Jump Street, The Twilight Zone, and Pacific Blue and had his first acting job in V: The Series.

He had a large role as Tony in the 1986 film River's Edge.

He was born in Santa Monica, California.

He had a role in the film Heathers, which starred Winona Ryder .
