ABOUT JOSH HODGES
Singer and songwriter known as the front man of indie band STRFKR . He and bandmates became known for their exuberant live sets, where they randomly swap instruments, use confetti and feature light shows. His songs have been heard on shows including The Blacklist , Weeds and Skins (US) . They have also featured in films like The Fault in Our Stars .
He was in a different band before STRFKR. After quitting it, he started playing in his basement alone as a form of therapy.
He performed at house parties. In 2004, he released an album titled Sexton Blake.
He grew up with a show business family. His uncle was a Liza Minnelli impersonator in Portland. Both his parents played music when they were younger.
He and Kathleen Hanna are both singers from Portland.
