ABOUT JOSEPH RANSOHOFF
Pioneer of neurosurgery who created the first CAT scans and MRIs in his practice at New York University.
He studied fine arts at Harvard before changing his mind and going into medicine.
He served in the army in WWII as a neurosurgeon in evacuation centers in France and Germany.
He had two children with his second wife, Dr. Lori Cohen Ransohoff.
He was a consultant to the TV medical drama Ben Casey, which was produced by Bing Crosby .
