ABOUT JOSE AUGUSTO RODRIGUEZ

Professional shortstop and middle infielder that was first signed by the Chicago White Sox as an international free agent in February 2018. A few years later, he was named the seventh best MLB prospect in the White Sox farm system following the 2022 minor league season.

He initially began his professional career playing for the DSL White Sox rookie affiliate team. He was later sent to the AZL White Sox.

He recorded a career-high 14 home runs during the 2021 minor league season. In 111 games, he recorded a .301 batting average during the season.

He grew up living with his family in Valverde, Dominican Republic.

He and Jonathan Stiever both played for the Chicago White Sox.
