ABOUT JOSE MIRANDA

Professional first baseman that was drafted by the Minnesota Twins during the second round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He was named American League Rookie of the Month in July 2022.

He began his professional career playing for the Elizabethton Twins rookie affiliate team. The following year, he was promoted to the Cedar Rapids Kernels.

He made his major league debut playing against the Baltimore Orioles on May 2, 2022. The very next day he recorded his first major league hit.

He was born and raised in Manati, Puerto Rico. He married Paola Nazario in December of 2022. They have a daughter together named Valentina.

He played alongside Luis Arraez and Carlos Correa as a member of the Twins during the 2022 MLB season.
