Professional middle infielder that was first signed by the New York Yankees as an international free agent in 2016. He was later packaged in a trade that sent him to the Miami Marlins .
He originally began his professional career playing for the DSL Yankees rookie affiliate team. A few weeks later, he was promoted to the GCL Yankees.
He made his official major league debut playing against the San Francisco Giants on April 24, 2021 as a member of the Marlins. He finished the game hitting 0 for 3.
Growing up, he lived with his family in Samana, Dominican Republic. He is the cousin of Major League All-Star Rafael Devers .
