ABOUT JORGE GONZALEZ
Late professional wrestler who wrestled under the ring names El Gigante and Giant Gonzalez after playing basketball for the Argentine national team. He died as a result of heart problems and diabetes at age 44. He was the tallest wrestler in history to compete in both the WWE and WCW.
He stood at 6'4" by the time he was 14 years old and eventually topped out at 7'6".
He appeared on the series "Baywatch" as a sideshow giant in 1993. He appeared in more than 5 movies throughout his brief acting career.
He was married and had one step-daughter.
His last singles wrestling match came against Keiji Mutoh , a.k.a. The Great Muta, on February 8, 1995.
