ABOUT JORDI ÉVOLE
Spanish journalist and television presenter known for directing Salvados on La Sexta from 2008 to 2019. He is a columnist at the Catalan newspaper La Vanguardia. He is popular on Twitter and has 3.5 million followers.
He got his degree in Audiovisual Communication at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He was a sports announcer for the Carrusel Cataluña on Radio Barcelona before getting his first TV contract working on the program Viladecans Televisió.
He has won numerous awards, including five Iris Awards and four Ondes Awards. In 2013, he won the Nicolás Salmerón Human Rights Award. In 2014, he won the Llibertá Prize.
He was born in Cornellá de Llobregat in the province of Barcelona, Spain. His mother, Antonia Requena Hidalgo, is from Grenada, and his father, Gonzalo Évole Hurtado, is from Estremeñu.
