Professional shortstop that was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays during the first round of the 2018 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Miami Marlins via trade in August 2022. He was drafted out of Magnolia High School in Magnolia, Texas.

He first began his professional career playing for the GCL Blue Jays. He was later sent to the Bluefield Blue Jays.

He made his official major league debut playing against the Philadelphia Phillies on September 13, 2022 as a member of the Marlins. He finished the game 0 for 3.

He is a native of Magnolia, Texas and has a brother named Jaxx. He has dated Riley Kaderli.

He played against Alec Bohm and Kyle Schwarber during his MLB debut.
