ABOUT JORDAN DIAZ

Professional third baseman that was first signed by the Oakland Athletics as an international free agent in 2016. He was named one of the Athletics' top 100 prospects in 2022.

He began his professional career playing for the AZL Athletics rookie affiliate team. He was later promoted to the DSL Athletics.

He made his major league debut playing against the Houston Astros on September 18, 2022. He recorded his very first MLB hit the same day.

He grew up living with his family in Monteria, Colombia.

He played alongside Tony Kemp during the 2022 MLB regular season.
