ABOUT JONATHAN PLATERO
All-star dancer for the 13th season of So You Think You Can Dance that features dancers between the ages of 8 and 13 in competition. He was paired with competitor Daniela Avanzini for the show. He previously was a finalist on SYTYCD in the show's 5th season.
He was active as a gymnast before he started dancing at the age of 16. He was a World Salsa finalist in 2006-2007.
He returned to So You Think You Can Dance in seasons 10 and 11 as a choreographer. He was a dancer in an episode of Glee.
He married Oksana Dmytrenko in a wedding planned by David Tutera .
He and Gaby Diaz were both all-star mentors for So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation.
