ABOUT JONATHAN JOHNSON

Right-handed reliever who made his MLB debut in 1998 with the Texas Rangers and joined the San Diego Padres in 2002. He played for 3 different teams throughout his 5-year professional career.

He attended Forest High School in Florida.

He pitched for the Houston Astros in 2003. In 2006, he resumed play at a minor league level for a couple of years.

He was born in LaGrange, Georgia.

All-Star reliever John Wetteland was his teammate on the Rangers.
