ABOUT JONAH KIRSTEN SORRENTINO
Christian rapper more commonly known as KJ-52. He's received recognition in the Christian music community, winning four Dove Awards. He released his ninth album, Mental, in October of 2014.
He grew up in Tampa, Florida, and worked for a youth ministry as a teenager.
His song "Dear Slim" was addressed to Eminem and received a negative reaction from the artist's fans. KJ-52 later responded to that incident with a song called "Dear Slim, pt. 2."
His parents divorced when he was young. He's married and has children. In 2019, he attributed his family as one of the reasons he'd be retiring from rap.
He and Kevin Burgess are both Floridian Christian rappers.
