ABOUT JOHN SESSIONS
British comedian and actor who rose to fame as a regular panelist on the UK radio and TV series Whose Line Is It Anyway?. He made a long list of appearances in film, including Gangs of New York , The Iron Lady , and 2015's Mr. Holmes .
He began a PhD program at McMaster University in Canada before dropping out. He went on to study acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where Kenneth Branagh was a classmate.
He appeared as a regular panelist on the popular British comedy game show QI. He played Dr. Herman in the 2016 film Florence Foster Jenkins .
He was openly gay. He died of a heart attack in November 2020.
He collaborated frquently with Stephen Fry throughout his long career.
