ABOUT JOHN ROBINSON
Head football coach for USC who won four Rose Bowls and a national championship in 1978. He coached the Los Angeles Rams from 19983 until 1991. Before that, he coached the Oakland Raiders.
He went to elementary school with John Madden .
He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2009. He was inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame in 2003.
He had six children with his wife Linda.
He coached future pro and college football hall-of-fame running back Marcus Allen at USC.
