ABOUT JOHN RAVE

Left-handed outfielder that was taken as a fifth round pick in the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft by the Kansas City Royals . He previously played college baseball at Illinois State University . While there, he earned All-MVC honors twice.

He was a two-sport athlete while at Central Catholic High School. In addition to baseball, he also played basketball back then.

In 2024, he hit 21 home runs which was tied for the most in the entire Royals' farm system. Just one year later, he made his official MLB debut on May 26, 2025.

Growing up, he lived with his parents and his two siblings. He is the youngest of all three.

He was selected during the 2019 MLB Draft just like Adley Rutschman .
