ABOUT JOHN PAXTON
Screenwriter who adapted the screenplay for the 1953 film The Wild One and who was nominated for an Oscar for his adapted screenplay for the 1947 film Crossfire.
He worked as a journalist and publicist before becoming a screenwriter.
In 1971, he won a Golden Globe for Best Screenplay for the film Kotch.
His nephew was the comic book writer Ed Brubaker .
Actor Marlon Brando starred in his adaptation of The WIld One.
