ABOUT JOHN KENN MORTENSEN
Danish illustrator and director known for spooky themed art such as his illustrations featuring monsters, ghosts and ghouls. He is also famous as an animator and director of children's television programs. He has amassed more than 330,000 followers on his johnkennmortensen Instagram account.
He trained at The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark.
In 2011, he debuted a book of illustrations titled Sticky Monsters. His other works include The Nightmare Factory, The Wrestler and A Christmas Bestiary. He has produced multiple illustrated adaptations of classic Brothers Grimm tales.
He and his wife have twins.
He and Jonathan Faust are both popular Danish illustrators.
