ABOUT JOHN T. MCCUTCHEON

The 'Dean of American Cartoonists' who received the Pulitzer Prize for Cartooning in 1932.

After finishing his education, he joined the Chicago Morning News as a cartoonist, remaining there for the next 14 years.

McCutcheon High School in Tippecanoe was named in his honor.

He was born in South Raub, Indiana.

His editorial cartoons inspired future generations of cartoonists like Paul Conrad of the Los Angeles Times.
