ABOUT JOHN KIFFMEYER

Original drummer for the punk rock band Green Day who played on the compilation album 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours.

He attended Humboldt State University and played with bands including Isocracy.

After leaving Green Day, he worked as Director of Photography at San Francisco State.

He married the experimental film maker Greta Snider.

He was in Green Day with Billie Joe Armstrong .
