ABOUT JOHN HARRIS
English artist known for his science fiction-themed illustrations and paintings. He illustrated Seeker, an acclaimed science fiction novel by author Jack McDevitt.
He studied art at Luton College and Exeter University. He later created artwork commissioned by Shell Oil and Philips Electronics.
His painting of a NASA shuttle launch was displayed at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
Born in London, he later settled in Devon with his wife and two children.
He provided cover art for editions of the science fiction works of Isaac Asimov , Orson Scott Card, and others.
