ABOUT JOHN F. BURNS
British journalist and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner who served as London bureau chief for The New York Times in 2007.
He attended McGill University after emigrating to Canada from England.
He has won the Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting twice; once in 1993 for his coverage of the Bosnian War and again in 1997 for his reporting on the Taliban in Afghanistan.
His wife Jane Scott-Long managed the New York Times' Baghdad Bureau.
He was a frequent guest on the Charlie Rose show.
