ABOUT JOHN BLAKE
Football coach who debuted in 1987 as a tight end and wide receiver coach for Tulsa, and made his head coaching debut in 1996 for Oklahoma.
He played college football for Oklahoma, where he was a defensive lineman.
He was a defensive line coach at UNC from 2007 to 2010, but resigned over controversies surrounding player benefits.
He married Freda Blake, and raised a son, Jourdan, with her.
He was a defensive lineman coach for the Dallas Cowboys under head coach Barry Switzer .
